There was a lot to celebrate for the Jonas family during the brief hours last Thursday when everyone was in North Texas. Naturally, there was an unavoidable air of melancholy to the day because the Jonas Brothers were here for Thursday’s public memorial for their friend Kidd Kraddick and for the concert afterward at the House of Blues benefiting Kidd’s Kids.
But on the upbeat side, Thursday was also the 28th wedding anniversary for Jonas Brothers’ parents, Denise and Kevin Jonas Sr. Along with their youngest child, Frankie Jonas, Mama and Papa Jonas are nominally based in Westlake in an ample house behind the gates of the Vaquero golf community.
Thursday was also the 24th birthday of their No. 2 son, Joe Jonas, who was in Texas with his Swiss girlfriend, graphic designer Blanda Eggenschwiler.
Perhaps most importantly, Friday was the birthday of Joe Jonas’ bulldog, Winston.
Of course the big news in Jonas world came last month when eldest son, Kevin Jonas, and his wife, Danielle, stars of Married to Jonas, announced that they are expecting a baby.
