Nick Jonas Is A Hit With Olivia Culpo's Parents
Nick Jonas sure knows how to impress the ladies, and that means starting with mom.
The youngest Jonas, who's romanced Miley Cyrus, Selena Gomez and Delta Goodrem, spent the weekend in Rhode Island with new gal pal Olivia Culpo and her family -- and he turned up the charm by donning his Sunday best.
“He actually came to church with us on Sunday!” gushed Olivia’s mom Susan Culpo to Celebuzz. “It may seem a bit unusual, but not to him.
“He’s a fine kid. He’s only 20, so I call him a kid,” she laughed.
“We had such a great time.”
Last weekend's getaway was a big step for the twosome, marking the first time Nick had a face-to-face with the beauty queen's parents. And he did everything so right (phew!) that he was even an overnight guest in their home and hit all the hot spots in town.
“They stayed in our house. And they went to the zoo and to our favorite restaurant Twin Oaks,” she added.
The fam was also spotted at local eatery Iggy's Doughboys & Chowder House, where they all noshed on cheeseburgers, hamburgers, chowder, doughboys, and calamari, according to E!.
“They were only here for two days so it was a short trip," said Susan.
Nick met the Miss Universe 2012 when he co-hosted the 2013 Miss USA pageant in June. So as for whether or not the young couple have defined their boyfriend/girlfriend status after a mere two months... well, all you Jonatics can relax… for now.
“Olivia’s only 21 and he’s 20, so they’re very young. But he’s a fine young man,” said her mom.
“I think she’s having fun. They’re just getting to know each other. They’re in the beginning stages. So who knows where it goes from here,” Susan added. “But they are interested in each other and definitely like each other.
“Good taste on Olivia’s part.”
We couldn't agree more.
